Susan began her professional cooking career in Saratoga Springs, NY, in 1993, and has been “cheffing” from coast to coast ever since. She's owned and operated her own natural foods restaurant, has been a private/personal chef to high profile individuals in the entertainment, sports and technology industries, has done recipe development for one of the nation’s top women’s fitness trainers, taught countless cooking classes, health workshops and retreats, and appeared on local television demonstrating culinary tips and techniques.
She attended the Kushi Institute in Becket MA, where she honed her knife skills and studied the art of macrobiotics, and received mentorship through the Living Proof Institute in Toronto CA in the field of functional nutrition. Susan holds a certification in Metabolic Typing and is an avid student and advocate of understanding our natural biology to feel our best. She is a holistic weight loss coach, working virtually through a 5 week program that teaches her clients to make healthy lifestyle shifts for sustainable results not only on the scale, but also improving overall health markers while reducing diet and stress related disease risk factors.
Happy to be settled once more in upstate NY, she’s committed to sharing her passion for healthy eating. She partners with holistic wellness professionals to support their clients’ evolving dietary needs, and works with a handful of her own select private clients as their personal chef, creating menus focused on fresh, flavorful, nutrient-dense, “real food”.
